Meet Our Talented New York Area Entertainers
At Jest Murder Mystery Co. we pride ourselves on our talented and experienced local New York entertainers who bring our murder mystery shows to life. Our team is made up of skilled performers who are passionate about creating a fun and engaging experience for our audiences. Here’s a little bit about some of our talented actors.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Ashleigh Madaris practically grew up on theatre, writing and performing her own plays, performing in community theatre, and studying theatre in college.
She loves performing and is specifically interested in fight choreography and stunt work. She trained jiu-jitsu and MMA during college. Additionally, she has a podcast called Perpetually Single (available on Spotify and Apple Music), where she and her best friend chat about modern dating
Mark has performed in various comedies and not-comedies in the Big Apple (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and North Carolina (Unto These Hills, Fight Girl Battle World).
Mark also writes short plays and musicals, and since moving to NYC, has been studying solo multidisciplinary performance and physical comedy. You can find him in Central Park chasing dropped juggling balls. He also enjoys cooking, reading classic science fiction, and wearing floral-print neckties.
Kim Bollard is a New York-based actor, writer, and comedian. She graduated from Rutgers University with a double major in Theatre and Journalism & Media Studies, and a minor in Digital Filmmaking. She studied acting at T. Schreiber Studio, and has been trying her best to take over the world ever since.
When she’s not acting, writing, or dreaming, she’s annoying her neighbors with her ever-expanding garden on their shared patio, loving her cat too much, and pretending she’s on Great British Bake Off.
David is member of the Artpark Repetrory Theater, the South Carolina Summer Rep, and The Improv Olympics, David has performed at Cafe Bustello, CBGBs, and ABC No Rio. He’s frequently the musical emcee for “WORD: The Storytelling Show” on Avenue A in New York City, and he stars as a hip-hop rapper’s shrink in the film, “Verses at Work.”
David recently played Eddie in “Lost in Yonkers,” and James Lingk in “Glengarry Glen Ross” —both the Nutley Little Theater. David and his wife, Janet, front the original power pop band, The Bloomingfields.
