Francis is an actor, musician, and British dialect coach. He is delighted to be in Jest’s cast. Francis’ first role was Romeo in his school play Romeo and Juliet. He attended the Univ. of Manchester, England and Trinity College of Music, London.
Francis’ recent theatre roles range from Chasing Jack (Dr Max Noel) Best Play NYTF, Richard III (Murderer), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (George), The Weir (Finbar), Four Weddings and an Elvis (Fist), Towards Zero (Chief Supt. Battle) to Dr Who and Severus Snape!
He has performed as a musician and entertainer at many venues including The Arts Club Mayfair and The Irish Club, London UK; and Passion Night Club Hard Rock, Ft Lauderdale, FL.
Recent film and TV credits include Critical Thinking (Chess Judge), The Beach Bum (Pulitzer Announcer); Paper Empire (Russian Agent); The Right Stuff (Ice Water Doctor); Betty in New York (Dr Ines); ID (FBI Agent); Crossing the Line (Intelligence Agent) Best Foreign Film Switzerland Int’l Film Festival 2020.
In 2019, Francis won the Acting Achievement Award Wo/men in the Arts USA; Best Narration Key West Film Festival for his lead role (God) in Grim, God and Todd; and Best Supporting Actor (Movie Mogul) in Shut Up You; and starred on PBS in Vessel (Lead Widower/VO) Best Int’l Film Central American Film Festival.
Francis has a keen interest in Irish music, soccer, cricket and Formula 1. He is a member of SoFL Irish Theatre, Actors’ Cultural Theater Inc., and SoFL Theatre League.
