In the past 40 years, Dan Chase has performed in theaters across the Midwest in such diverse shows as “Wait Until Dark,” “A Man For All Seasons,” and “Marat/Sade,” with musical stops in “The Fantasticks,” “Assassins,” “Damn Yankees,” and “All Shook Up,” to name a few.
Most recently, he polished his Irish accent for “The Beauty Queen of Leenane,” lost a limb for “A Behanding in Spokane,” then hanged a few witches just for fun in Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible.” For a change of pace, Dan recently directed “The Music Man” for Urbandale Community Theatre.
Dan retired from a 27 year career as a high school choral director, and now has the pleasure of following his daughter as she starts down her path to a career in music.
He enjoys performing with Jest Murder Mysteries, especially since it includes performing with his lovely, talented wife Carol Palmer.
